North Stack getting lumpy - time to put the camera away

After a quick flurry of messages on Facebook late on Friday afternoon , I arranged to meet Gareth and Sarah the next morning. Gareth also brought along Dave who I sort of knew a little of from the Paddlers Bar at Anglesey Outdoors. The more the merrier!

After a quick conflab at <ahem> Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (don't you just love cut and paste) we decided to paddle from Soldiers Point to Porth Dafarch. After a quick shuttle we were setting off towards North Stack.

It was a cracking day! At South Stack both Gareth and I saw the most amazing sight - a seal swimming upside down gracefully nibbling Dave's rudder - We were both so surprised we could only watch. Dave wasn't so impressed and quickly pulled the rudder up out of the water!

When we arrived at Penrhyn Mawr the tide race was just beginning to start - Dave annoyed everyone by getting some great surfs out of the smallest waves. Not only that, but later he kept going on and on and on about it.... Don't worry Dave we were only jealous!

Best Days paddling ever!!
