We paddled from Connel to Lismore and back, followed by a play on the Falls of Lora (on the flood) surfing on the wave.

We stopped for lunch on Eilean Dubh

On the way back we saw what I thought were kids on the rocks. When we got closer we realised they were White Tailed Sea Eagles. I couldn't believe how big they were! Tony managed to get a shot of them before they flew away. I thought I'd got some good photos but the cameras memory card was faulty.

Things starting to pick up

And after that there were no more photo opportunities. After a couple of attempts I managed to get onto the wave for a surf. The wave forms on the flood just up from the middle of the bridge on the Loch Etive side. My alert sensors were in overdrive, not so much due to the water, but more for fear of damaging Tony's composite boat I was in. There are a few shallow reefs to avoid, waiting behind the wave...

This was a really great days coaching and paddle with Tony Hammock.

Thank you Seafreedom
